Interview with the GSHPA’s Bean Beanland

Bean Beanland is the chairman of the Ground Source Heat Pump Association (GSHPA), has a Degree in Physics from Imperial College and is an Associate of the Royal College of Science.

Bean has twelve years’ experience in energy and carbon mitigation, concept design, procurement and installation of mechanical services and renewable technologies.

He has overseen the specification and delivery of over seventy ground-source systems (half coupled to boreholes and ranging between 20kW and 1MW+ in capacity) many of which supply heat and potable hot water to listed period buildings.
