Julian Hetherington joined the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) in 2019 after over 31 years in the automotive industry, initially at Ford and then over twenty years at Jaguar Land Rover, most recently as Director of Globalisation Programmes, where he was responsible for overseas industrialisation programmes.

Julian has experience in production operations management, industrial automation and control development and has had senior roles in advanced manufacturing engineering and portfolio programme management.
