Wood Heat 2020

Due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus the Wood Heat Asscoiation (WHA) and UK Pellet Council have taken the decision to move the Wood Heat Conference 2020 online with a series of sessions between 19th – 22nd October 2020.
These sessions shall be followed by a physical Wood Heat Conference in 2021, 30th – 31st March 2021 in Birmingham.
The virtual conference will provide an opportunity to consider both the current status of the wood heat industry and look to the future. While UK heat policy continues to underestimate the potential for biomass, current heat proposals also fall well short of putting the UK on a pathway to meeting its decarbonisation targets. Continuing to demonstrate the crucial role biomass heat has to play in meeting this challenge will be a prominent theme throughout the four virtual sessions.
