Next steps for biodiversity and species protection in the UK

An online conference in which policymakers and stakeholders will assess next steps and potential. Speakers from organisations including DEFRA, Natural England, Environment Bank and LEAF will discuss subjects including:

• changes proposed in the Environment Bill and Agriculture Bill,
• plans for an Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) as the UK’s environmental watchdog following exiting the EU,
• the Land use: Policies for a Net Zero UK report published by the Committee on Climate Change earlier this year
• initiatives already in progress, such as Local Nature Recovery Strategies.
