GSHPA Webinar – The importance of flow temperatures on heat pump performance

It is well know that flow and return temperatures have an large impact on the efficiency of all heat pumps. Solid Energy, a Danish manufacturer of large heat pumps, was asked to carry out a review of heat pump efficiency when using water from disused coal mines. sophie logoUsing Solid Energy’s modelling software, this webinar shows the results of the review and emphasises the importance of designing for low flow and return temperatures even with source water at 20C from disused coal mines.
