CLA South East – Water: As custodians of water, how can farmers and land managers manage their use effectively?
December 2, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The Environment Agency has warned that within 25 years England will not have enough water to meet demand. This is particularly important to the South East. This seminar will discuss how farmers and land managers can responsibly manage use and help protect water quality and quantity for the next generation.
This seminar will address the issues farmers and land managers face in every day use of water to run their farms and businesses and how to address these issues.Â
Our speakers include
- Alice Ritchie, CLA Climate Change Lead
- Peter Taylor, Environment Agency
- Trevor Bishop, Water Resources South East
- Hallam Mills, Trustee of the Wessex Rivers TrustÂ
We will hear from them before going to a panel discussion and Q&A session. You will also have the opportunity to speak to the delegates on a small group basis and network with other members.Â
