Biomass heating project to reduce Staffordshire hotel spa’s emissions by 40%

Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel in Staffordshire (pictured above) is sourcing feedstocks locally for a newly installed 1MW biomass heating system, to save over 1,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent each year.

The £1.5 million project sources wood from the National Forest to meet the all-round heat demand, which is less than 20 miles from the spa hotel.
