The UK is facing multiple critical issues: (i) the delivery of the legally-binding Net Zero by 2050 target is off-track; (ii) soaring food and energy prices are driving a cost-of-living crisis; and (iii) widespread soil degradation is eroding agricultural sustainability.
With the ability to impact all three, land management sits at the heart of these key issues. The UK must rethink how it manages its finite land – such that multiple issues may be addressed simultaneously.
